February 2009 a new month to tackle!
Speaking of tackle we enjoyed a delicious Super Bowl at Holly's last evening and also gathering to celebrate her birthday! Food galore, drinks, and lots of laughter would make this day a new tradition! Not only do we enjoy our Football Mondays with Holly throughout the regular season, but Super Bowl with our parents was awesome. My parents came over to celebrate as well. We were able to plot our upcoming events this year; our trip to Chicago and our visits up to the cabin too, it's going to be a great year!
On Saturday evening we were able to enjoy great times with some of our oldest friends. When Mark and I first met we had a group of friends we ran with and as the years go by things have changed as some friendships do. But also we have kept in touch and when we can gather we get back in the o'l routine anytime we see each other. A group of us were out at our friend Micah & Jeremiah Peterson's 27Th Birthday Party celebration in St. Paul. They had a live band in party room and lots of people and of course lots of dancing happened (See pics) it was great to be all together again!
This month of course I look forward to Valentine's Day only because its a great excuse to spend time only with Mark and we get to eat a delicious meal together! The next week two of our friends have birthdays and we'll be heading to Hastings for a celebration. Also planning for our Grand Marais visit will be fun and nice to get away just the two of us. We hope to get in contact with my cousin Hans to stop by and visit baby Tae too. We will start our indoor volleyball on Thursday nights just to get out and prepare for this summer's volleyball season. I'm looking for info for Mark to play indoor Softball at the recreation center and also planning on a softball league. Lots to do and plan for just to add some new excitement to our lives and keep being active when we would rather bundle in until Spring.
Until next time...
